What Happened to the Salus? (1857)

The stern of a vessel, with the name Salus of Sunderland on it, was discovered by a fisherman from Findon, on the coast near Findon and was brought into port at Aberdeen. 

What happened to this vessel? Were the crew lost or drowned? Where exactly did the vessel sink and which part of the coast did she strike?  

Unfortunately I have no real records of this particular incident other than a brief note listed in Lloyds – The Marine List dated 10th June of this year.
